When a lonely loser, Justin, meets a bizarre woman, April, his entire life begins to change for the better… until she is snatched from their bed late one night by a demon. Finding a strange and ancient book among April's things, Justin summons a surly netherworld creature named Lo to search Hell and return her. Although Lo has other ideas of what to do with this tasty human, Justin is determined to find April, and will not be deterred by singing waiters, tortured souls, a demonic doo-wop band, or the stories of tortured souls… though his own fractured mind may be another story.
